The Nexus One is Google’s latest phone on the market. This phone could be a really good competitor for the Apple Iphone.
The Nexus One of Google is released several day’s ago, and off course there are many reviews already.

We don’t bother you with long stories with our opinion about this phone -- just some small things you should know about this phone, so you know what kind of phone this is.

running on a Qualcomm QSD 8250 1 GHz processor with 512MB RAM is the newest smartphone by Google. It’s performance is great, at least what we did see on the Internet at the moment. The display is 3.7-inch (diagonal) widescreen WVGA AMOLED touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels. The camera is also great! It has 5 Megapixel camera with LED flash. is the hardware part of the Nexus One. HTC is basically the manufacture of the Nexus One and Google added his software to it. For all hardware info, please click on the link above that says “Google’s Nexus One Feature overview”.

Android is Google’s software that is running on the Nexus One cellphone. Also known as Android Mobile Technology Platform 2.1 (Eclair).

Crazy dutch! Free iPhone for students

Students in The Netherlands really got some luck! Here comes the crazy part.
Normally when you go to school, you need a pencil and some paper to write down your stuff. Well it seems to be complicated for some students to lurn their own language. So what this school did in The Netherlands, is giving 30 iPhones to their students to test if they can lurn their language better by using their cellphones. How insane is that?!

So all the students of this 2nd grade class is getting an iPhone for free!
Hope this wasn’t payed by the taxpaying dutch people. Worst part of the story, the website isn’t working correctly on the iPhone.

Blackberry touch with race application

A friend of TWN Telecom send us a great movie! The movie is about a Blackberry Touch with a super race application by using Bluetooth.

Looking for a true lady look design phone? Well Motorola is well know by their stylisch designs. Thanks to Elise, from Elise-style.com who tips us for this great lady phone.

Motorola calls it design the Divine Design. A true reflection of a super-slim phone that shows pure luxury with clean lines, precision detailing and premium materials. It has a nice metallic gloss front finish.

Measurements: 16mm thin X 42mm wide and 103mm long.
Weight: 3.6 ounces.

With this design it slips easily into a pocket of purse. The only negative part about this phone is, that it’s camera isn’t that great. With it’s 2 MegaPixel camare it makes great photo’s, but not the high quality standards of the new generation smartphones.

Then the multimedia options of this Motorola MRZR K1 phone. The MOTOKRZR has premium multimedia features. Off course you can make nice photo’s with it’s 2MP camera with 8x Zoom or via video capture and playback capabilities. But thats not all. Solar revolution by LG

At the Mobile World Congress 2009, LG revealed their newest “green” cell phone. It’s a solar phone. You read it correctly.. a phone that uses solar energy to charge it’s battery.
It isn’t working 100% for now, but it’s a start for a new revolution for cell phones. Can you imagen that you won’t need to charge your phone anymore.. but it’s doing it by itself? No struggle anymore with all that types of adapters – what is a current issue on the European market.

The design isn’t great yet, but it’s a start and we are know LG will do more with this great revolution for their cell phones.

Prada Phone by LG, the KF900 is a new phone designed by Prada. This phone is a much more extended then it’s model before, the KE850.

LG Prada KE850 Business phone

Prada is a well know brand on the martket. They are making a lot of things like bags and shoes. Well now they created a new cell phone with LG. Our title is saying this would be a business phone, but thats not exaclty what LG build. We see this more like a business phone for the real business ladies. It’s a light-weight phone with a 2MegaPixel camera.

LG Cookie KP500

The newest phone by LG is the LG KP500, also know as the LG Cookie. It looks a lot on the LG Renoir KC910, but can we expect the same?
Well Ala Test (dutch) wrote an article about it with international reviews about this phone. Ten experts and one costumer reviewed this phone. And the results are great. The experts gave this phone 71/100 points and the costumer 90/100. They compared this review with their other reviews (300749 reviews) and the final result of this phone was 88/100, what is very good! You can read more reviews of users on the website of Review Centre.

Enough about the reviews. Time to see some specifications about this phone. Is it realy that good? Well here the specs.

Calling and data functions:
The LG KP500 Cookie cellphone supports quadband GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 networks so this phone can be used almost everywhere. You can also use mobile Internet by using it’s GPRS and EDGE data network. These networks are not that fast as G3 networks but by it’s WAP2.0 browser the KP500 still give you a great Internet experiance. Sending files to a PC are no problem by it’s USB2.0. The phone also has a bluetooth function to send files over.

LG KP500 Cookie Multimedia:
Although the LG KP500 is a budget touchscreen phone, it still has multimedia functions like it’s 3.2 megapixel camera. Off course the KP500 has an audio and video player. Common audio formats like Mp3, WMA and AAC audio are no problem for this phone. It’s video formats are MPEG4 and 3GP. To make this phone even more complete, they added a FM radio with RDS in it.
Another great feature of the LG Kp500 Cookie are the Motion Sensor Games. To play this games, you need to shake the phone or move it to different directions. The KP500 has also a Documet Viewer, so you can open Word, Excel and PDF files.

HTC Tytn II P4550: Ideal for messaging

If you are looking for a great smartphone, you search the whole net for it. Well At least I did. I needed a new phone, because my old one – Samsung U600 – broke down. After two years it’s life ended. The touch pad of the phone was nearly dead. Well time to look for a new one!

I wanted a smartphone, one that was easy in use, and had some great features.
Well a lot of phones now day’s, are great phones, but what is the best phone? Some people are saying the iPhone is the best. Well I think that one is way to big and heavy. So I was looking for a different type of phone. Suddenly the brand HTC took my attention.. and I was looking trough their types of phones. The HTC Tytn II P4550 looked pretty cool to me. The screen would be perfect! If you slide the phone, the screen got this great feature that is turning. Ideal for messaging and being on the net.

Here some more images about this phone and some specifications of this phone: And sorry to tell, but I ordered another phone, the HTC Touch HD. Simply because I do like this phone more then the HTC Tytn II.
