T-Mobile G1: Googlephone
The website of PhonesPhonesPhones.org posted about this Googlephone. It’s about the T-Mobile G1 phone with the Android operating system from Google. The G1 from T-Mobile will be the first phone that will use this as a operating system.
The large sensitive touch display will be very easy to use this phone. If you slide out the panel, it will reveal a full qwerty keyboard.
The G1 will have a 3.2 inch TFT display at 480×320 pixels and has 65.000 colors. It has also a great mp3 player that supports a lot of formats, like mp3, AAC, AMR, WMA, MIDI, WAV, OGG Vorbis and M4A.

This will be compatible with Gmail and Instant Messaging. It has a inbuilt memory MicroSD card of 2GB and is expandable to 8GB. As connectivity it has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB and Internet is available via GPRS, EDGE and 3G HSPDA (7.2Mbps).
This is a great smartphone, with a talktime up to 5 hours and standby up to 130 hours and weights a bit heavy with his 158 grams.
It’s an interesting device, a friend bought one and I had a chance to play with it a bit. The UI is okay, not particularly slick like the iPhone but we’ll see what applications come out for it.
